I've reviewed a lot of otaku and fan related anime and live action shows, but one anime I never got around to reviewing is Otaku No Video. So this week I finally get that review out of the way. This week I take a look at one of my favorite shonen comedy series Great Teacher Onizuka, more commonly referred to as GTO. I also read some of the entries from the Castle Of Cagliostro DVD contest and pick a winner, and bring you all sorts of other tasty anime goodies. It you visited the site in the past few days you would have noticed that the new WARP T-shirts are now available. These come in white with the classy Weekly Anime Review logo in Navy Blue. This is a test run to see just how well they will sell, so if you want one be sure to do it sooner then later. Shirts are only $10 shipped inside the US, and slightly higher outside the country. The last couple podcasts I've been telling you about how I'm going to be a guest at SITACon next month. So this week I have a conversation with con chair Andrew Corbin, and he fills us in on all the goings on at SITACon. It's going to be a really great time, especially if your a fan of podcasting. This week I take a look at the first volume of Speed Grapher and tell you if I'll continue watching this series after the first volume. Check out the above YouTube link for the original opening of Speed Grapher featuring the song "Girls On Film" by Duran Duran. I wonder how much more Funimation would've had to shell out to license the song? There are some minor spoilers since this is an opening from after episode 13. I also have some pretty incredible news, we have been invited as guests to SITACon! SITACon will take place in Utica, NY October 6-8th at the State University Of New York Institute Of Technology (SUNYIT for short). We will be part of the podcasting guests at he con.
